Energy Security

Energy Security

Understanding the intersection of energy security and all-domain resilience can help the Navy to understand the immediate and long-term impacts on military readiness, operations and strategy.

Changes in the physical battlespace are and will continue to be threats to national security as impacts inhibit the fleet in meeting its mission. Conducting research and educating the force on energy security in this context ensures a better understanding of the physical battlespace and decision-making in the face of change.

EAG has a leading role in conducting research and educating officers to ensure a force that is literate in energy security. EAG leads research and education in the following areas to address complex energy security challenges.

  • Energy and Operational Advantage
  • Operational Energy / Shore Energy Nexus
  • All-Domain Impacts on Operations
  • Role of Uncrewed Systems in Advancing Energy Security
