Abstract

CORE POWER is combining advanced nuclear technologies with maritime manufacturing and shipyard construction to build floating nuclear power plants and maritime civil nuclear propulsion for commercial ships. CORE POWER will deliver nuclear power on time and within budget directly to industrial customers and ocean transport. This discussion provides important information on CORE POWER’s Maritime Civil Nuclear Program and its potential for enhancing American national security.

Biography

Before joining CORE POWER, Bob served at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. As a career surface warfare officer, he commanded the guided-missile cruiser USS Mobile Bay (CG 53) and guided-missile destroyer USS Preble (DDG 88). He is a graduate of Old Dominion University, the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø, the National Security Policy and Strategy program at the Naval War College, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology Reactor Technology Course for Utility Executives.
