Since March 2023, the NEC has provided centralized support for distance learning (DL) as well as institutional strategic initiatives. NEC provides support in the areas of course design, video support, media, and web support.

Supported NEC Initiatives

NPS Online

NEC Visual Design and Communications teams worked with Academic Affairs to migrate all NPS distance learning web information from the legacy DL website to the new NPS Online site, a single portal to browse all NPS’s current offerings.

NPS Hawaii

NEC is providing direct faculty and student support to NPS Hawaii, a partnership between NPS and U.S. Pacific Fleet (PACFLT) to support PACFLT’s advancement of Indo-Pacific regional maritime security and stability.

Student Naval Aviators

NEC is supporting the Student Naval Aviators (SNA)s program. This six-month, accelerated program provides Ensigns waiting for flight school in Pensacola with two DL graduate certificates focused on STEM and Operations Analysis.
