CDR Paolo Singh

l
Lead Discussion Facilitator
Commander Paolo Singh is a Ph.D. Student with the Applied Mathematics Department at the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. His research interests are focused on Network Science applications toward Machine Learning algorithms for improving individualized, adaptive learning in both training and education. Following his program completion, he intends to join the NPS Operations Research faculty for continued research and teaching future cadres of NPS warrior scholars.
Prior to his arrival in Monterey, Singh spent most of his career flying F/A-18C-F Hornet and Super Hornet aircraft. He also served with the Joint Staff developing strategy to counter terrorist messaging and recruiting campaigns, which began his interest in Network Science studies.
Singh graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 2003 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, and from Johns Hopkins University in 2022 with a Master’s degree in Applied and Computational Mathematics. Additionally, he is a 2010 graduate of the Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN), which emphasizes excellence in teaching and learning for the fleet operator.
