NPS IG Mission
Provide the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø with independent, objective, and professional inspections, assessments, inquiries, research and evaluation, investigations, oversight and advice on all matters of importance.
What We Do
We help the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø leadership, faculty and staff maintain the highest level of integrity and public confidence. We conduct reviews and assessments to advise NPS managers on compliance with Navy guidance, while seeking opportunities to improve processes and add value to programs. On receiving complaints or allegations of fraud, waste, abuse or mismanagement, we conduct inquires to establish the facts and, if enough creditable evidence exist, we investigate to provide NPS leaders with an accurate and independent report.
