INCOSE Certification - Systems Engineering Department
INCOSE Certification
If you're interested—or if it's required by your command—taking the Fundamentals of Systems Engineering (SE3100) course, which is a core requirement in all Systems Engineering (SE) Department degree programs and the 282 certificate, makes you eligible to bypass the knowledge exam for two of the three certifications offered by the : the Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) and the Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP).
INCOSE Certificates
INCOSE certification is recognized and valued by many employers, who often reference it in job postings or encourage their employees to pursue it. These certifications provide assurance of an individual’s understanding of systems engineering principles and terminology, as outlined in the INCOSE Systems Engineering Handbook—a key reference for SE practitioners.
Our SE3100 is designed around this very handbook. By successfully completing SE3100 with a grade of B or higher, you qualify for academic equivalency—a formal agreement between INCOSE and the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø. This means you can demonstrate your knowledge of the handbook without having to take the INCOSE knowledge exam, streamlining your path to ASEP or CSEP certification.
